Abstract
Between 1977 and 2001 the Hungarian Entomological Society organised 9 collecting trips to Turkey. During these trips 56 species of 14 genera in 5 sub-families were collected. Beside several rare species Hypocaccus rugiceps (Duft,) was also captured and it proved to be a new record for Turkey
