Abstract
APARTMENTS, PARIS, FRANCE; ARCHITECT: FABIEN BRISSUAD Mass timber buildings are increasing in popularity as a method for construction despite the fact they are more expensive than their traditional counterparts. CLT panels have been employed to build this infill project in Paris. Apart from questions of reducing the carbon footprint, this development method can be faster in execution allowing for earlier occupancy. Moving towards environmentally friendly methods can now be viewed as a solution to urban development problems.
