Abstract

A spagettiburleszk, amely nem egy valós zsáner, egy olasz komikus páros filmjeit fedi, akik máig rendkívüli népszerűségnek örvendenek Magyarországon és Európaszerte. Bud Spencer (eredeti nevén Carlo Pedersoli) és Terence Hill (Mario Girotti) a spagettiwesternekből és Sergio Leone árnyékából nőtték ki magukat, az erőszakos, sötét hangulatú szubzsáner az ő parodisztikus filmjeikkel egyfajta átalakuláson ment át. A westernek világát elhagyva egy saját sorozatot építettek komikus kettősükre, amire már legfőbb hatással a tízes-húszas évek amerikai filmburleszkjei voltak, így a páros legfőbb előképének Stan Laurelt, Oliver Hardy-t, Charles Chaplint és Buster Keatont tekinthetjük. A burleszk hatásait filmjeikben eleddig kevesen mutatták be, valamint azt is, hogy milyen kultúrtörténeti előképek kötődnek még a Spencer‒Hill duó által képviselt komikus ellentétpárokhoz. Így többek közt Miguel de Cervantes Don Quijotéja hatását is vizsgálom, valamint a páros filmjeiben használt jellegzetes komikus jelenségeket Henri Bergson francia filozófus A nevetés című művében megalkotott fogalmaival elemzem. | The ’spaghetti burlesque’ or ’spaghetti slapstick’ is a non-official genre that refers to the films made by the Italian comedian-duo who are still enjoying a high popularity in Hungary and Europe-wide. Bud Spencer (whose original name is Carlo Pedersoli) and Terence Hill (whose original name is Mario Girotti) ascended from the shadows of ’spaghetti western’ and Sergio Leone. The violent and dark sub-genre was turned into a parody as a result of their work. Leaving behind the world of westerns, they created their own series built on the comedians’ duo which rather showed the influence of silent slapstick comedies from the early 20th century America. From this point, artists like Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Charles Chaplin, and Buster Keaton could be considered as the idols for the duo. The impact of slapstick comedies on their film-making and the cultural-historical origin of the comical opposite pair they represent was barely studied before. This paper would fill this gap by amongst others observing analogies between Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quijote and their films, as well as the analysis of their comical tools based on the definitions from Henri Bergson’s philosophical work, Laughter.
