Abstract
SEMPIONE (SIMPLONE SQUARE), ROME, ITALY – ARCHITECT: MAURIZIO BRADASCHIA The difficult balancing act, both politically and architecturally of restoring a city square that has been used a car parking space for many years. Careful selection of materials, that are appropriate considering the historical value of Rome, requiring varied application of natural stone surfaces. A project that demonstrates the idea that architecture functions as a civil act.
