Abstract

A tanulmány annak feltérképezésére irányul, hogy a napjainkban kémia tantárgyat tanító általános iskolai pedagógusok (n=100) a hagyományos, frontális, pedagógus központú vagy a korszerűbb, élménypedagógiai alapon szerveződő, tanulóközpontú tanítási módszereket alkalmazzák-e a tanításuk során. Az eredmények szerint a hagyományos, pedagógus központú tanítás napjainkban is a válaszadó pedagógusok több mint 80%- ánál jellemző az órákon, holott a kémia szakos tanárok nagy része ezt nem tartja eredményesnek. Ugyanakkor a kémiát tanító tanárok több mint fele igyekszik mindig, vagy heti rendszerességgel korszerű, tanuló központú elemekkel kiegészíteni az óráit. = The study is aimed at identifying whether elementary school teachers (n=100) teaching chemistry today use traditional, frontal, teacher-centered, or more modern, studentcentered teaching methods organized on the basis of experiential pedagogy. According to the results, classic, teacher-centered teaching is still common in the lessons of more than 80% of the responding teachers, even though most chemistry teachers do not consider this to be effective. Only more than half of the chemistry teachers permanently or on a weekly basis try to supplement their lessons with modern, student-centered elements.
