Abstract
A jogtudósok a korábbiakban nem fordítottak kellő figyelmet az összehasonlító jog előzményeire az ókori Mediterráneum térségében. A tanulmány szerzője áttekinti a római jog fogalmai alkalmazásának lehetőségét a klasszikus, görög-római antikvitás jogai elemzésében. Az esszé vizsgálja a nemzetközi gazdasági és államközi kapcsolatok hatását a Földközi-tenger térsége államainak jogára. A szerző hangsúlyozza továbbá a római jog ma is kimutatható jelentőségét a magánjog kodifikálásának területén. | Legal scholars did not pay much attention to the antecedents of comparative law in the laws of the ancient Mediterraneum. The author of the article examines the possibility of the application of concepts and notions of Roman law in the field of analysis of the laws of classical i.e., Graeco-Roman Antiquity. The study examines the influence of the international economic and political relations on the laws of the ancient Mediterranean world. The author emphasizes the contemporary significance of Roman law in the field of the codification of private law.
