Abstract

A magyar repülő- és űrorvosi kutatásokban a honvédorvosok jelentős szerepet játszottak. A hidegháború éveiben a titokvédelmi szabályok betartásával dolgoztak, szerepvállalásuk mindeddig nem kapott nyilvánosságot. Részt vettek a Varsói Szerződés repülő- és űrorvosi munkaértekezletein, kongresszusain és szimpóziumain. Tevékenységük az Interkozmosz programban is eredményes volt, űrélettudományi kutatásokat folytattak és ellátták a magyar űrrepülés körüli teendőket is. A magyar űrrepülés egyes fejezetei államtitoknak minősültek, ezeket szigorúan titkos kormányrendeletek szabályozták. Az egykor titkos magyar űrrepülés néhány adata először kerül ismertetésre Hungarian military doctors played a major role in Hungarian aviation and space medicine. They fulfilled their duties in accordance with the confidentiality regulations during the Cold War, therefore their role has not received any publicity so far. They took part in the meetings, congresses and symposiums of the Warsaw Pact on aviation and space medicine. Their activities were successful in the Interkosmos Program and they carried out researches dealing with life sciences in space. Also, they performed duties concerning the Hungarian spaceflight. Certain parts of the Hungarian spaceflight were considered to be state secrets and were regulated by top secret government decrees. The formerly secret data in connection with Hungarian spaceflight are released and described for the first time.
