Abstract

One of the general introductory theorems of jurisprudential systematics is that law is divided into different branches. The traditional division seems evident and straightforward at first glance, and the traditional classification is precise. However, if we delve deeper into the taxonomic foundations of categorisation, it becomes possible to see what a branch of law means and how they can be distinguished from one another. Following this theoretical introduction, it is worthwhile to establish a new legal category: beach law.
