Abstract

Architects: Levente Szabó DLA and András Bartha DLA. Good quality architecture may not look bad, goodlooking architecture may not be of the best quality, which in turn might not require the services of a good architect. The former ski lodge required the services of architects who recognised the need for a special type of historical building restoration and expansion, that retains the original character and meaning of the place, yet relevant to current and future users. Informed by ski lodge or better still ski hut (hütte) culture the building lives on.
