Abstract

2022-ben jelent meg Szarvák Tibor kötete Adalékok a társadalmi felzárkózás szociológiájának értelmezéséhez címmel. A szerző a vonatkozó szakirodalom alapos ismeretének birtokában ír a társadalmi kirekesztődés térbeli dimenzióiról, az etnikai alapú térbeli szegregációról és annak az egyénre gyakorolt hatásairól vidéki környezetben. A tanulmány átfogó képet ad az elmúlt évtizedek szegregációs folyamatainak ki- és átalakulásáról, a társadalmi integrációt erősítő programok eszköztáráról, hatásairól, és felvázolja, hogy a stratégiai tervezésnek és az „antiszegregációs” programoknak milyen szerepük van a jelenkori társadalmi innovációk paradigmájában. E publikáció célja bemutatni a mű lakhatási szegregációt érintő dimenzióit, reflektálni a szerző által bemutatott eredményekre, és feltárni kapcsolódási pontjaikat más módszertani megközelítésekkel. In 2022, Dr. Tibor Szarvák’s book entitled “Contributions to the interpretation of the sociology of social inclusion” was published. Based on a thorough knowledge of the relevant literature, the author writes about the spatial dimensions of social exclusion, ethnic-based spatial segregation and its effects on individuals in rural settings. The paper provides a comprehensive overview of the emergence and transformation of segregation processes in recent decades, the instruments and effects of social inclusion programmes, and outlines the role of strategic planning and “antisegregation” programmes in the paradigm of contemporary social innovation. The aim of this publication is to present the dimensions of the work on housing segregation, to reflect on the results presented by the author and to explore their links with other methodological approaches.
