Abstract
The article describes the process of warehousing complementing with the definition of concepts essential for warehousing and the various areas that can be found in most warehouses. In the rest of the article, the relationship between the warehouse and production will be discussed,then the presentation of milkrun systems and the related milkrun routes will come to the fore. In the last part of this article, we will introduce how to calculate the optimal milkrun path using the Solver add-in for Microsoft Excel.
