Abstract

A pandémia, a gazdasági-társadalmi kihívások jelentős hatással voltak a rendezvényiparra is, melyek a szabadidős fesztiválok újratervezését, a felmerülő kockázatok és bizonytalanságok rugalmasabb menedzselését eredményezték. Jelen tanulmány a Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Európa Kulturális Fővárosa program keretében a 2021-2022-ben megrendezett fesztiválok szervező oldali tapasztalatait vizsgálja, a PwC kockázatmenedzsment modellt alkalmazva. A primer kutatás strukturált interjúkra támaszkodik, mely különböző tematikájú és helyszínű fesztiválok szervezői tapasztalatait mutatja be. | Influenced by the pandemic and concurrent economic-social instability, the event industry has faced substantial challenges, prompting a reimagining of leisure festivals and a more adaptable approach to managing risks and uncertainties. This research investigates the orga- nizational experiences of festivals conducted during 2021-2022 as part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture Programme, utilizing the PwC risk management model. Primary data collection is based on structured interviews, providing insights from organizers of diverse festivals in terms of theme and location.
