Abstract

After defining the concept of structure and topics of chemistry the chemical structure itself is described in detailes. The main types of the chemical bonds are presented by illustrative examples. Attention is called on the fact that the properties of a molecule are determined by the interaction of all of its constituent atoms. Finally, it is emphasized, that in the basic and high schools it is not proper to go into detailes but an effort has to be made for developing an up-to-date aspect.
