Abstract
Hungary's edaphic and climatic conditions are excellent for agricultural production, including crop production. Year after year, farmers can boast higher and higher yield averages and, in many cases, better technological quality, which is a fundamental custodian of agriculture’s income-generating capacity. However, intensive farming in almost all agricultural areas has led to a physical and chemical deterioration of the soil, which in the long run endangers the structure of soils, the operation of its 3-phase system, the nutrient supply of our cultivated plants, and ultimately successful farming.
