Abstract

Housing can serve social goals when correctly managed as tool towards urban redevelopment. This project strives towards the goal of integrating different social backgrounds of occupants and linking them with a matrix of green spaces, an architecture that reflects the urban/natural duality. The relationship with its surrounding environment leads to a sensitive balance of scales, which guarantee good sunlight to all interior rooms, the south-facing gardens, and the intermediate open spaces, creating a friendly transition with the neighbouring environs.
