Abstract

Cél: A tanulmány célja, hogy bemutassa azokat a legfontosabb nemzetközi és hazai rendészettörténeti eseményeket, amelyek meghatározóak voltak a hazai rendészettudomány kialakulásában, fejlődésében. Módszertan: A jelen tanulmány a hazai és a nemzetközi rendészeti szakirodalom több száz kiadványának tartalmi feldolgozásával, azok gondolatainak elemzésével, kronológiai sorrendbe helyezésével, a hazai és nemzetközi események párhuzamba állításával készült. Megállapítások: Mára nyilvánvalóvá vált, hogy a rendészet a története során egyértelműen tudásalapú tevékenységgé vált, amelyet ma már BA, MA és doktori iskola keretein belül oktatnak. Érték: A tanulmány abban nyújt segítséget, hogy a rendészettudomány kutatói, oktatói és a rendészeti tevékenységet folytatók a döntéseik kiérleléséhez, mindennapos munkáikhoz a hazai vagy nemzetközi rendészettudomány szakirodalmából meríthetnek. | Aim: The aim of the study is to present the most important international and domestic events in the history of policing, which were decisive in the development of the Hungarian police science. Methodology: The present study has been prepared by processing the contents of hundreds of publications in the domestic and international law enforcement literature, analysing their reflections, placing them in chronological order, and juxtaposing domestic and international events. Findings: It is now clear that policing has clearly evolved throughout its history into a knowledge-based activity, now taught in BA, MA and PhD schools. Value: The study will help police researchers, academics and law enforcement practitioners to draw on the literature of domestic or international law enforcement to inform their decisions and everyday work.
