Abstract
Six hours following actinomycin-D treatment the structure of nucleolus changes: the granular and fibrillar components completely separate from each another. In the cytoplasm the inactivity of dyctiosomes and the changes taking place in the GERL-system indicate the alteration of protein synthesis. An increased synthesis of dense-core vesicules (very active dyctiosomes) and a significant emptying in the axons can be observed 11, 24 and 48 hours after treatment. Five days following the actincmycin-D treatment certain restoration can be seen in the cytoplasm and in the structure of nucleolus indicating the reversibility of the changes evoked by the effect of actinomycin-D.
