Abstract

Several foreign and domestic experts have already made the classification of main battle tanks and several theories have been developed for the establishment of generational boundaries; however, these generational boundaries have not yet been established for the other two important and nowadays increasingly important subcategories of armoured fighting vehicles like: armoured infantry fighting vehicles and armoured personnel carriers. In this article I would like to attempt to draw these boundaries, based on which the armoured fighting vehicles of the past decades can be categorized. Az alapharckocsik csoportosítását több külföldi és hazai szakember már végrehajtotta több elmélet született a generációs határok felállítására, azonban a páncélozott harcjárművek másik két fontos, és napjainkban egyre fontosabb alkategóriájára, a páncélozott gyalogsági és a páncélozott szállító harcjárművekre ezek a generációs határok még nem kerültek kijelölésre. Ebben a cikkben kísérletet teszek ezeknek a határvonalaknak a kijelölésére, mely alapján az elmúlt időszak páncélozott harcjárművei bekategorizálhatóvá válhatnak.
