Abstract

Gogol első novelláskötete egy korai példa az orosz prózairodalom kialakulásában nagy jelentőséggel bíró elbeszélésciklus műfajára. Gogol számára mind az elbeszélt történethez, mind pedig az elbeszélői hang megtalálásához a keleti szláv folklóron keresztül vezet az út. Munkánk célja a gogoli ciklikus elbeszélés műfaji archetípusának meghatározása és a novellákban megjelenített rítusoktól a ritualizált elbeszélésig vezető út vizsgálata, különös tekintettel az elbeszéléshelyzetet övező szertartásokra. Gogol's first collection of short stories is an early example of the genre of the narrative cycle, which was of great importance in the development of Russian prose literature. For Gogol, the way to both the story told and the narrative voice is through Eastern Slavic folklore. The aim of our work is to define the genre archetype of Gogol's cyclic narrative and to examine the path from the rites represented in the short stories to the ritualised narrative, with particular attention to the rituals surrounding the narrative situation.
