Abstract
The paper is dedicated to show how the linguistic landscape of city streets changed in the former Czechoslovakian, Romanian and Yugoslavian districts that were annexed to Hungary between 1938 and 1941. More specifically, the paper investigates how street names were changed back to their previous Hungarian names or were given new names in the period.
