Abstract

Las relaciones entre la naturaleza y la humanidad han provocado varios conflictos desde la Antigüedad hasta hoy. Nuestros antepadasos fueron testigos de muchas catástrofes que acabaron con la vida de millones de personas, sobre todo en forma de epidemias y catástrofes naturales. Actualmente, al lado de las calamidades mencionadas, el cambio climático es una amenaza permanente que será un factor decisivo en la vida de las futuras generaciones, pero hoy en día nosotros también podemos ver sus efectos directos. En mi artículo intento ofrecer una visión general sobre la representación cinematográfica de la relación poco pacífica entre la humanidad y la naturaleza (˝ecocine˝), teniendo en cuenta dos enfoques principalmente diferentes, aunque parcialmente convergentes: los efectos nocivos del cambio climático sobre la Tierra y la humanidad, y el ˝comportamiento˝ modificado de la naturaleza, sobre todo la flora y la fauna, que podría tener consecuencias negativas (incluso letales) sobre la humanidad. | The relationship between nature and mankind has led to various conflicts from ancient times to the present day. Our ancestors witnessed many catastrophes that killed millions of people, especially in the form of epidemics and natural disasters. Today, together with the above-mentioned calamities, climate change is also a permanent threat that will be a decisive factor in the lives of future generations, although today we can see its direct effects too. In my article I try to give an overview on the cinematic representation of the unpeaceful relationship between mankind and nature (the so-called ˝ecocinema˝), taking into account two mainly different but partly converging approaches: the harmful effects of climate change on Earth and mankind, and the altered ˝behaviour˝ of nature, especially flora and fauna, which can have negative (even lethal) consequences on mankind.
