Abstract

A szerző írásában a 20. század legendás professzorának, Magyar Imrének emlékét idézi fel, a professzor halálának 40. évfordulóján. Bemutatja tanítómestere belgyógyászati iskolájának jellemzőit, azokat a vonásokat, amelyek évtizedeken át meghatározóvá tették a belgyógyász magatartását. A szerző leírja azokat az elvárásokat is, amelyek orvosi hivatását és gondolkodását hitelessé és etikussá teszik, és amelyek ma már nagyon hiányoznak az orvosi magatartásból. | The author recalls the memory of the legendary professor of the 20th century, Magyar Imre, on the 40th anniversary of the professor’s death. He presents the characteristics of his teacher’s school of internal medicine, the features that have determined the behavior of internists for decades. The author also describes the expectations that made his medical profession and thinking credible and ethical, and which are sorely lacking in medical behavior nowadays.
