Abstract

A tanulmány szerzője arra a kérdésre keresi a választ, hogy miért nem elegendő a hallásukban akadályozottaknak csak olvasni a Bibliát; a jelnyelvi produkció, ez esetben a bibliai mondanivaló jelnyelvi megjelenítése és annak írásos megfogalmazása, más szóval az irodalmi produkció között jelentős különbség húzódik. A jelnyelvi bibliafordítás küldetése, hogy nyelvi-kulturális megközelítés útján közvetítse az evangéliumot a siketek felé, mivel a hallás képessége bibliai értelemben nem pusztán biológiai adottság. = The author of the study seeks an answer to the question why it is not enough for people with hearing difficulties to simply read the Bible. There is a significant difference between „sign language production”, in this case the sign language representation of the biblical message, and its written formulation, in other words, „literary production”. The mission of sign language Bible translation is to convey the gospel to the non-hearing through a linguistic-cultural approach, since the ability to hear – at least in the biblical sense – is not merely a biological endowment.
