Abstract
Architects: Finta Studio. Extending outward from Budapest Nyugati (Western) Station Finta Studio developed ideas to use the abandoned rust belt land found running parallel to the railway lines, with the aim of creating a green corridor linking the city centre to Városliget (City Park). This vision would include new residential and commercial building developments, parks and public spaces, all connect to the existing railway network. A brave, yet human scaled vision for the future.
