Abstract

Azok az öregek, akik tanyán élték le egész életüket, a megszokott életritmust semmiért sem váltanák fel. A kis talpalatnyi föld, a kis megszokott fészek oda köti. Nem vágynak a csendesebb tanyai életből a zajosabb, de kényelmesebb, kulturáltabb falusi életbe. | In the times after the expulsion of the Turks, the farm world was organically linked to the market town environment of our discussed area. The education of the children also took place for the first time in the urban center of the extended family. Over time, the compulsory schooling of the children of the small families who moved to the farm became a growing problem. The construction of the Klebelsberg farm school in the second half of the 1920s tried to help with this. He was usually a teacher and his wife as a teacher took care of the tasks of education and meeting the cultural needs of the farm people. The teacher was the link between the state and the desert world, and they also formed a separate layer. After the collectivization of the lands (1963), the farm communities broke up and sought their livelihood in the city or in the village designated as the center. The farm schools were regionalized by 1980. I would like to present the process at nine farm schools in the area of my birthplace, Vásárhelykutas (now Székkutas).
