Abstract

A mentorálás és a coaching fogalmának egyre gyakoribb használata figyelhető meg mind az üzleti élet, mind az oktatás területén. Jelen dolgozatban összehasonlítjuk e két fogalmat, és rámutatunk a köztük lévő hasonlóságokra és különbségekre. Az egyes ágazatok, így pl.: az oktatás, felsőoktatás és az ipari- gazdasági szféra tekintetében is érdemes megvizsgálni ezeknek a fejlesztő folyamatoknak az értelmezési és alkalmazhatósági kereteit, sajátosságait Az alábbiakban vizsgálódásunk fókuszába a felsőoktatást helyezzük. Az Európai Képesítési Keretrendszer (2008/C 111/01) szerinti tanulási eredmények között hangsúlyos szerepet kap a szaktudás mellett a készségek, képességek és kompetenciák fejlesztése. A magyar felsőoktatás körülményei között sem kérdéses, hogy a mentorálás és a coaching módszerének alkalmazása a hagyományos oktatási módszerek és eszközök mellett nagyban segítheti a munka világában megkövetelt kompetenciák fejlesztését. | Mentoring and coaching are increasingly used in both business and education. This paper compares these two concepts and highlights their similarities and differences. It is also worth examining the interpretative and applicability frameworks and specificities of these development processes about individual sectors, such as education, higher education and the industrial-economic sphere. In the following, we focus on higher education. In the learning outcomes of the European Qualifications Framework (2008/C 111/01), the development of skills, abilities and competencies plays an important role alongside the development of competencies. In the context of Hungarian higher education, there is no question that the use of mentoring and coaching, alongside traditional teaching methods and tools, can significantly help to develop the competencies required in the world of work.
