Abstract

A 19. század második felében a gyalogsági fegyverek fejlődése kikényszerítette a tüzérség által alkalmazott lövegek fejlesztését. Az addig alkalmazott csőanyagokkal nem lehetett a lövegek teljesítményét a szükséges mértékben növelni. A sokáig egyeduralkodó Krupp Művek kivételével a korszak gyárai nem voltak képesek olyan nagyméretű, jó minőségű acélöntvény előállítására, amit a csőgyártás megkövetelt. A korszak vezető üzemei a 20. század elejére oldották meg ezt a technológiai problémát. Addig azonban érdekes megoldások születtek a növelt szilárdságú lövegcsövek előállítására. Cikkemben ezeket az eljárásokat mutatom be. | In the second half of the 19th century, the development of infantry weapons forced out the development of cannons used by artillery. With the barrel materials used until then, it was impossible to increase the performance of the guns to the required extent. Except for Krupp Works, which dominated for a long time, the factories of the era were not capable of producing the large, high-quality steel castings that gun barrel production required. The leading plants of the era solved this technological problem by the beginning of the 20th century. Until then, interesting solutions to product increased strength gun barrels had been created. I present these procedures in my article.
