Abstract

We investigate the capabilities of the Sparse Identification of Nonlinear Dynamics (SINDy) method for time delay systems. We generate a dataset based on a numerical simulation and present two methods to identify the system with time delays. First, we show the threshold iteration using the STLSQ algorithm. Second, we show a delay iteration method to reduce the dimension of the candidate terms.
