Abstract

Az énekeskönyv-megújítás munkacsoportjainak egyik feladata, hogy megvizsgálják jelenlegi énekeinket: azok történeti adatait és gyülekezeteink életében betöltött szerepét. Ezzel egyidejűleg folyamatos tennivaló új tételek keresése, amelyek a meglévő énekkincset gyarapíthatják. Új énekek keresése alatt érthetünk valóban 21. századi szövegeket és dallamokat, ugyanakkor fontos lehetőség a magyarországi társegyházak és a világevangélikusság már régóta használt énekeinek áttekintése. A két említett munkafolyamat, a régi értékelése és az új keresése szépen összeér a genfi zsoltárokban. Az alábbi tanulmány célja az énekcsoporthoz tartozó történeti háttér, valamint a jelenleg használt énekek gyakorlati szempontú bemutatása, amelyek ismeretében könnyebben gondolkodhatunk a jövő terveiről. | One of the tasks of the hymnal renewal working groups within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary is to examine our current hymns: their history and their role in the life of our congregations. At the same time, finding new hymns to add to the existing hymnal is also an ongoing task. The search for new hymns extends to 21st-century texts and melodies, but it also offers an opportunity to review the hymns already in use in other Christian churches in Hungary and Lutheran churches worldwide. The evaluation of the old and the search for the new blends smoothly together in the Geneva psalms. The purpose of the following study is to provide a historical background to the hymn group and a practical view of the hymns currently in use, which will help us plan their future application.
