Abstract

A világ eredetének kérdése minden vallásban központi szerepet játszik, így a zsidó vallásosságban is kiemelkedő jelentőségű. A teremtésről szóló magyarázatok a judaizmusban a késő ókortól kezdődően lassan, de egyértelműen változnak, filozófiai vagy más vallási irányzatok hatására új gondolatokkal egészülnek ki. Ezek közül kiemelkedik a zsidó misztika, mint a zsidó vallásos gondolkodás máig ható irányzata. Jelen tanulmány célja, hogy bemutassa a zsidó kozmológiai elképzelések evolúcióját a késő ókortól a 16. század elejéig, a rabbinikus hagyománytól a Zohár elterjedéséig. | The question of the origin of the world plays a central role in every religion, including Judaism, where it holds particular significance. Explanations of creation in Judaism have gradually but distinctly evolved since late antiquity, influenced by philosophical and other religious trends, incorporating new ideas over time. Among these, Jewish mysticism stands out as a lasting and influential strand of Jewish religious thought. The aim of this study is to present the evolution of Jewish cosmological concepts from late antiquity to the early 16th century, tracing their development from rabbinic tradition to the spread of the Zohar. However, the study does not discuss the Lurianic Kabbalah, as its complexity requires a separate presentation.
