Abstract

Az evolúcióelmélet megjelenése és elterjedése jelentős hatással volt a különböző vallási közösségekre, mivel a tudományos megközelítések gyakran kihívást jelentettek a hagyományos vallási narratívák számára. A tanulmány célja, hogy bemutassa az evolúcióbiológia fogadtatását különböző vallási hagyományokban, különös tekintettel a hinduizmus, a buddhizmus, a kereszténység, valamint az ezekhez kapcsolódó kiemelkedő gondolkodók – Teilhard de Chardin, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda és Thich Nhat Hanh – nézeteire. A kutatás elemzi a vallás és tudomány közötti párbeszéd lehetőségeit, rávilágítva arra, hogyan próbálták egyes vallási vezetők és filozófusok integrálni az evolúció gondolatát saját spirituális tanításaikba. | The emergence and spread of evolutionary theory have had a significant impact on various religious communities, as scientific approaches often challenge traditional religious narratives. This study aims to explore the reception of evolutionary biology within different religious traditions, with a particular focus on Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, as well as the perspectives of prominent thinkers associated with these traditions—Teilhard de Chardin, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda, and Thich Nhat Hanh. The research examines the possibilities for dialogue between religion and science, highlighting how certain religious leaders and philosophers have sought to integrate the concept of evolution into their spiritual teachings.
