Abstract
ARCHITECTS: CEBRA. CEBRA's residential complex in Malling, Denmark, reinterprets the traditional Danish multi-story volume house within a small-town context. Organized around three distinct gardens that mediate between the urban surroundings and the dwellings, the sculptural building provides 52 homes on a former mill site. The design emphasizes human-centered principles, utilizing local materials like brick and slate to connect with the context while employing staggered balconies and varying roof heights to create a more dynamic and articulated form.
