Abstract

A tanulmány célja átfogó képet nyújtani arról, hogy a Románia szomszédságában zajló orosz–ukrán háború kitörése milyen reakciókat váltott ki a politikai vezetés és a lakosság körében, illetve milyen kihatása volt az ország politikai, gazdasági és biztonságpolitikai helyzetére. Az elemzés külön kitér a Románia által a háborúval kapcsolatban tanúsított politikai állásfoglalásra, az ország által Ukrajnának nyújtott humanitárius és katonai segélyek kérdésére. Ugyanakkor azt is vizsgálni kívánja, hogy a háború okozta megváltozott helyzet milyen új biztonságpolitikai és geopolitikai kihívások elé állította a román kormányt és a fegyveres erők vezetését. | The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive picture concerning the reactions of the political leadership and the population to the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war in Romania’s neighbourhood, and its impact on the political, economic and security of the country. The analysis focuses in particular on Romania’s political position concerning the war, on the issue of humanitarian and military aid provided to Ukraine. At the same time, it also seeks to examine how the changed situation brought about by the war has presented new security and geopolitical challenges for the Romanian government and the leadership of the armed forces.
