Abstract
ARCHITECT: BÁLINT TERDIK An experimental architectural project in Nadap, Hungary, featuring two identical buildings constructed with full-story height prefabricated concrete panels. Designed by Bálint Terdik of Triskell architectural office, these structures stand on the village, aiming to reinterpret vernacular architecture with a stark, modern aesthetic that clearly expresses its prefabricated construction. Internally, visible wood and a central service "box" maintain spatial clarity while adapting traditional layouts to modern needs. Initially conceived for rural accommodation, one unit was adapted into an office and wine tasting room. This innovative approach, initially a pragmatic response, demonstrates potential for economic and ecological sustainability.
