Abstract

AbsztraktDolgozatom központi témája az életvégi ellátás gyermekkorban.Célom volt áttekinteni az eutanázia külföldi és hazai gyakorlatát, valamint a palliatív, a kórházi és a gyermekhospice ellátást. Fontos külön kiemelni a szülő szerepét, mint a gyermekellátás további specialitását.Külön kitér a dolgozat a gyermekhospice hazai és külföldi alakulására az évek során. Tárgyalja az életvégi ellátás standardjait. A gyermekek kórházi ellátásának lehetőségeit és személyes tapasztalatokat a mindennapi munka során.Az életvégi ellátás az élet minden szakaszában fájdalmas és nehéz, a betegnek magának is és a gyermekek esetében a szülőnek, aki egyszerre aktív, de mégis passzív módon tud részt venni benne. Egészségügyi dolgozóként a fentiekben leírt lehetőségek ismerete és használata a mindennapokban kísérheti, segítheti ezt a nehéz utat. The authors published a two-part article in the previous two issues of the IME journal, summarizing the legal framework and available options for end-oflife care, the stance of churches and relevant ethical standards, as well as the possibilities for adult care, the challenges faced, and potential solutions. The present article serves as Chapter 3 in continuation of the previous parts, focusing on end-of-life care in childhood. It reviews international and national practices of euthanasia, as well as palliative, hospital and child hospice care. It is important to highlight the role of the parent as a further speciality of paediatric care. The paper also makes a special reference to the development of child hospice at home and abroad in recent decades. It discusses the principles of end-of-life care, forms of care, options for hospital care of children and personal ex - periences in everyday work. The article also discusses techniques that make care more human and how those working in this field can help people to cope with bereavement.
