Abstract
Relevance: Natural resource management is critical for balancing economic growth with long-term environmental sustainability and economic security. Purpose: This study investigates market-based solutions for more efficient management of natural resources to enhance economic security and reduce associated risks. Methods: A mixed-method approach was employed, including a review of recent literature, data analysis on natural resource markets, and case studies focusing on price volatility and resource allocation efficiency. Results: Findings suggest that decentralized management of natural resources, coupled with well-defined property rights and eco-friendly technologies, can reduce price volatility, enhance economic performance, and mitigate risks associated with the "resource curse." Conclusion: The study emphasizes the importance of market-based approaches to resource management, highlighting the need for strong institutional frameworks and corporate social responsibility to safeguard economic security. Recommendations include policy reforms to promote sustainability and investment in renewable resources to reduce economic risks while preserving natural assets.
