Abstract
Imre Forró’s most famous scholarly work is the history of Hungarian students at the University of Franeker. His academic interests also included the life and sermons of the martyred Danish Lutheran pastor Kaj Munk, on which two articles were published. For many years, he was interested in the names and life histories of the Stipendium Bernardinum scholarship holders in the 20th century, on which he published articles in Hungarian and Dutch. Closely connected with this was the list of Hungarian students who had studied in Amsterdam and Kampen, the compilation of which he corresponded diligently for many years, and it was not his fault that it was not completed. Only a manuscript of the biography and work of the Transylvanian scholar pastor József Benkő, for which he obtained valuable data from the Netherlands, has survived. He was also interested in the literary work of the writer A. C. Wallis, wife of Géza Antal, and exchanged letters on her literary legacy with prominent representatives of Dutch literary life.
