Abstract

2023-ban jelent meg a Nature magazinban a Population Genomics of Post-Glacial western Eurasia című írás. Ezen kívül 2025-ben várható egy újabb cikk megjelenése: Steppe Ancestry in western Eurasia and the spread of the Germanic Languages. Ezen angol nyelvű interdiszciplináris cikkek megírásában a fő szerzők mellett mindkét esetben több, mint száz társszerző működött közre. Itt röviden ismertetem e két cikket, melyek fő témája az indoeurópai és germán nyelvű népek eredetének genetikai, régészeti és nyelvészeti módszerekkel történő vizsgálata volt. | In 2023, the article Population Genomics of Post-Glacial Western Eurasia was published in Nature. Additionally, another article is expected to be published in 2025: Steppe Ancestry in Western Eurasia and the Spread of the Germanic Languages. These interdisciplinary English-language papers involved more than a hundred co-authors alongside the primary authors in both cases. This summary briefly introduces these two articles, focusing on the examination of the origins of Indo-European and Germanic-speaking peoples using genetic, archaeological, and linguistic methods.
