Abstract
The terrestrial reptile fauna of Libya is under-documented due to limited research stemming from political instability. The author conducted fieldwork in Libya, specifically in Marsa El Brega, during two visits in 2013 and 2014. Out of the 25 species known from Libya's historic Cyrenaica province, 7 species were identified in the surveyed area.
