Abstract

Three new genera in the lichen family Teloschistaceae, i.e.: Josefhafellia for the former Caloplaca bellemerei group, Bagliettoella for the former Gyalolechia marmorata branch and Tsarenkoella for the former Caloplaca obscurella group are described and compared with closely related genera. The positions of the species Lacrima apostatica (basionym: Loekoesia apostatica) and Neoplaca sideritis (basionym: Caloplaca sideritis) in the Caloplacoideae are determined. Two genera are resurrected: Streimanniella for Streimanniella michelagoensis branch and Meroplacis for Caloplaca brebissonii. The positions for all these taxa are shown in a phylogenetic tree based on a threegene matrix of nrITS, nrLSU and mtSSU-sequences. Eighteen new combinations are proposed: Bagliettoella luteococcinea (basionym Caloplaca subochracea var. luteococcinea Cl. Roux), Bagliettoella marmorata (basionym Callopisma marmoratum Bagl.), Cerothallia thuringiaca (basionym Caloplaca thuringiaca Søchting et Stordeur), Hueidea vaczii (basionym Lendemeriella vaczii Halıcı, Kahraman Yigit et Güllü), Josefhafellia bellemerei (basionym Caloplaca bellemerei Hafellner), Josefhafellia seppeltii (basionym Caloplaca seppeltii S. Y. Kondr. et Kärnefelt), Josefhafellia tswaluensis (basionym Caloplaca tswaluensis Fryday, S. Svoboda et D. A. Ward), Lacrima apostatica (basionym Lecanora apostatica Nyl.), Lendemeriella alstrupii (basionym Caloplaca alstrupii Søchting), Marchantiana beaugleholei (basionym Caloplaca beaugleholei S. Y. Kondr. et Kärnefelt), Marchantiana tephromelae (basionym Caloplaca tephromelae Kantvilas, Suija et Motiej.), Neoplaca albosquamata (basionym Caloplaca albosquamata Timdal et Rui), Neoplaca sideritis (basionym Lecanora sideritis Tuck.), Shackletonia candanii (basionym Parvoplaca candanii Halıcı et Søchting), Streimanniella asserigena (basionym Callopisma asserigenum J. Lahm), Streimanniella tomnashii (basionym Caloplaca tomnashii S. Y. Kondr., Elix et Kärnefelt), Tsarenkoella obscurella (basionym: Blastenia obscurella Körb.), and Tsarenkoella yonaguniensis (basionym: Fauriea yonaguniensis S. Y. Kondr., M. Moriguchi et Yoshik. Yamam.)
