Abstract
The structural design problem is solved in case of time-dependent loading. The state variables are given in function space, where the Fritz-John theorem is not proved. Approximating the functions by generalized Fourier-series, the coefficients become unknowns. Transforming the problem into Banach space, where the Fritz-John theorem is proved, the problem is solvable.
