W.C. Röntgen made the groundbreaking announcement of the discovery of X-rays in December 1895. Remarkably, within just six weeks of this revelation, the application of this imaging diagnostic tool was explored in dentistry, marking the inception of its crucial role as a diagnostic method for various dental conditions.
