Abstract

Alig két éve még kevesen feltételezték a mesterséges intelligencia (MI) napjainkra megvalósuló, robbanásszerű fejlődését. Jelen tanulmány a technológiai szingularitást megalapozó technológiákat, ezen belül hangsúlyosan az MI mint a tömegpusztító fegyverekkel összevethető hatást megvalósító technológiákat elemzi. Kvantitatív adatgyűjtés révén kiválasztott releváns szakirodalmak elemzésével vizsgáltam, hogy milyen mértékben vethető össze az MI diszruptivitása a tömegpusztító fegyverekével; képes lehet-e az MI közvetlenül is pusztító hatást kifejteni, illetve azt, hogy lehetséges-e a szabályozása az első hidegháború idején megismert jogi instrumentumokkal. | A few experts would have predicted such explosive growth of artificial intelligence (AI) now barely two years ago. This paper analyses the technologies that underpin the technology singularity, focusing on AI as a technology with effects comparable to weapons of mass destruction. Through quantitative data collection, selected relevant literature is analysed to examine the extent to which the disruptiveness of AI can be compared to WMD, whether AI can have a direct destructive impact and whether it can be regulated by the legal instruments known during the Cold War I.
