Abstract

A tanulmány Piccolomini Historia de duobus amantibusának egy magyar nyelvű, 20. századi verses átdolgozását mutatja be, egy különben ismeretlen szerző, Kiss Aladár tollából. Az átdolgozó egy saját jegyzete alapján a dolgozat kiemeli a hősnőnek, Lukréciának a fikció szerint az orális hagyományban megjelenő hírét, összevetve azt a 19. század végi magyar prózaíró, Justh Zsigmond Gányó Julcsájának „nóta”- értelmezésével. | The paper discusses a 20th-century Hungarian adaptation in verses of E. S. Piccolomini’s Historia de duobus amantibus. The author of the adaptation was an otherwise unknown poet, by the name of Aladár Kiss. Taking as a starting point one of Kiss’ notes to the text, the paper focuses on fictitious songs written about Lukrécia, the female protagonist of the story, comparing her attitude towards such songs with the mentality of another fictional female character, Julcsa Manga, created by a late 19th-century Hungarian novelist, Zsigmond Justh.
