Abstract

Finszter Géza, a hazai rendészettudomány, a kriminológia és a kriminalisztika ismert és elismert művelője, a rendészettan úttörőjeként számontartott tudós idén májusban ünnepelte nyolcvanadik születésnapját. A rendkívül gazdag tudományos és oktatói pályájából nehéz feladat lenne kiemelni a legjelentősebb állomásokat, pláne nem felsorolni azokat. A kiváló tudós eddigi életútjával, emberségével, szakmai teljesítményével követendő példát mutat mindannyiunk számára. Azt is bátran állíthatjuk, hogy a múlt érdemeinek említésén túl professzor úr tevékenysége a jelenről is szól, ami miatt a szakmai közösség, az egyetemek, a tanítványok mind tisztelik, példaként állítják, követendőnek tartják. Dr. Finszter Gézával Dános Valér főszerkesztő és Krenner József felelős szerkesztő beszélgetett. | Géza Finszter, a renowned and respected figure in Hungarian police science, criminology, and criminalistics, widely regarded as a pioneer of police studies, celebrated his 80th birthday this May. Highlighting the most significant milestones of his exceptionally rich academic and teaching career would be a difficult task–let alone attempting to list them all. Through his remarkable life’s work, his humanity, and his professional achievements, this distinguished scholar sets an example for us all. It can also be confidently stated that beyond honoring past accomplishments, Professor Finszter’s work remains highly relevant today–earning him the respect and admiration of the professional community, universities, and his students, who see him as a model to follow. Dr. Géza Finszter was interviewed by Editor-in-Chief Valér Dános and Editor in Charge József Krenner.
