Abstract
E-cigarettes are rapidly growing in popularity but face regulatory and perception challenges. In North America, youth usage scandals create volatility, while Europe remains stable. In Hungary, their positioning is shaped by social perception (health concerns, quit aid doubts) and regulation (flavour bans, excise taxes, limited advertising). Though seen as less harmful and a smoking alternative, effectiveness and safety remain debated. Strict rules and youth appeal complicate their market image.
