Abstract

A hagyományos, kérdőívkitöltéssel történő népszámlálások számára az utóbbi évtizedekben egyre nagyobb kihívást jelent az adatgyűjtéstől elvárt információk és a lakosság mérséklődő adatszolgáltatói teherbírása közötti egyensúly megtalálása. Tanulmányunk a legutóbbi négy népszámlálás iskolai tanulmányokra, megszerzett végzettségekre vonatkozó kérdéseit tekinti át, és bemutatja a kérdőívek kialakítása mögötti szakmai indokokat. A kérdőívtervezés, az adatgyűjtés és az adatfeldolgozás módszertani hátterének ismertetése mellett felvillantjuk egy a modern nemzetközi gyakorlatnak megfelelő, a lakosság kérdezése helyett adminisztratív nyilvántartási adatokat felhasználó jövőbeli népszámlálás lehetőségeit és kihívásait az iskolázottság témakörében. | Traditional censuses, which use questionnaires, have faced increasing challenges in recent decades in balancing the amount of information required with the declining cooperation of the population. Our study reviews the questions on education and qualifications in the last four censuses and pre sents the professional reasons behind the design of the questionnaires. In addition to describing the methodological background of questionnaire design, data collection and data processing, we outline the possibilities and challenges regarding the topic of education of a future census in line with modern international practice, using administrative register data instead of interviewing the population.
