Abstract

Kerek évszámok alkalmat adnak a számvetésre még akkor is, ha ezek történelmi léptékben aligha értelmezhetők. Mégis egy-egy kerek évforduló kapcsán indokolt összefoglalni, hogy tudományterületünk művelése során mit értünk el, mit sikerült ebből átadni az utánunk következő generációknak, mennyiben sikerült abból a társadalom hasznára fordítani. Erre lehetőséget ad, hogy Intézetünk 25 éves, a Regionális Gazdaságtan Tanszék pedig 30 éves. | Milestone anniversaries provide an opportunity for reflection, even if they are hardly meaningful in historical terms. Nevertheless, round anniversaries provide a good opportunity to summarize what we have achieved in our field of science, what we have been able to pass on to future generations, and to what extent we have been able to put it to good use for society. Our institute is celebrating its 25th anniversary and the Department of Regional Economics its 30th, providing us with an opportunity to do just that.
