Abstract

During technological development, many researchers have pointed out that various information systems are not used by companies and, in some cases, also by consumers. Technology acceptance models, which have been widely used in recent decades, have been developed to capture this and identify the reasons why it happens. Theoretical and practical fi ndings related to artifi cial intelligence show a fl uctuating trend from time to time, which may even be due to aversion and the resulting resistance. In our literature review, we highlight nine problem areas. These include unemployment, inequality, humanity, anomaly, security, controllability, interest, singularity, and legal disputes. We continued the search based on keywords on the ScienceDirect portal. We worked our way through the articles sorted by relevance, followed by extended research on Generation Z students. The fi rst phase of the survey was based on a sample of 131 people, which showed that respondents thought collaboration between artifi cial intelligence and humans was possible. The survey was conducted again six months later to determine whether the experience level infl uenced respondents’ perceptions of artifi cial intelligence.
