Abstract

A kötet tanulmányai átfogó képet adnak a terrorizmus történeti, társadalmi, politikai és technológiai dimenzióiról. A szerzők multidiszciplináris megközelítésben elemzik a terrorizmus kialakulásának folyamatait, szervezeti struktúráit, ideológiai alapjait, működési mechanizmusait, valamint a globális és regionális biztonságra gyakorolt hatásait. A tanulmányok kitérnek a toborzás és radikalizáció sajátosságaira, a terrorizmus finanszírozásának módozataira, valamint az új típusú fenyegetésekre – a biológiai és kiberterrorizmus jelenségétől a szélsőjobboldali irányzatokon és a magányos elkövetőkön át a börtönradikalizációig. Külön fejezetek foglalkoznak a felderítés, az elhárítás és a megelőzés intézményi és operatív aspektusaival, valamint a nemzetközi és hazai fellépés lehetséges irányaival. A kötet célja, hogy tudományos alapossággal, ugyanakkor közérthető módon járuljon hozzá a terrorizmus természetének, motivációinak és működési logikájának megértéséhez, továbbá alapot adjon a jelenség elleni hatékony és összehangolt válaszok kialakításához. // Our study takes two approaches to the phenomenon of terrorist financing. On the one hand, it examines the emergence of the issue in academic thinking using scientometric analysis of a relatively large number of relevant academic publications drawn from multiple relevant international databases. This analysis provides an opportunity not only to describe the main features of scientific cognition but also to take a historical perspective to explore the early emergence of the topic. Through a few case studies, we will illustrate that the problem is far from new. The methods developed in financial investigations and anti-money laundering procedures have allowed adaptation and further development of techniques in this area. The other, no less important part of the study deals with the development of legal concepts. In examining these, it is inevitable to analyse and compare the definitions produced by the various international organisations since they have significantly impacted the codification processes of states and have set the direction of the definition efforts of the concepts. A description of the national rules completes the analysis since it is based on these rules that it is possible to hold offenders liable.
